Minority Issues

The following organizations provide help for children and youth and their parents regarding minority issues (click on the agency's name for more information):

Migrant Education and Outreach Program
Provides academic tutoring, English as a second language, advocacy, career and educational counseling.

East Bloomfield GRASP
An in-home instructional program preparing students to take the GED exam. Program is for those 18 and over unless they are migrant eligible.

Agri-Business Child Development
Agri-Business Child Development provides a variety of programs to young children, including WIC, Head Start, transportation, nutrition, and services to children with disabilities or special needs.

Legal Assistance of the Finger Lakes
Legal Assistance provides legal representation for people in civil matters for those who meet income requirements.

Community Action Partnership
Provide assistance to families regarding homelessness, domestic violence, educational advocacy.
