Community Action Partnership is the Ontario County component of Action for a Better Community, Inc. in Rochester, NY. All services are designed for the whole family. The only program restricted to youth is the summer lunch program. The agency gets involved with homelessness, hunger, low-income issues, advocacy and support, heating assistance (HEAP), and emergency services. Included are the following programs: Family Crisis Prevention provides low-income families with emergency assistance for housing, transportation and referral; Food Pantry provides a three-day supply of food for each household member free of charge; Household Warehouse provides free household items such as kitchen utensils and small appliances; Summer Feeding Program provides children and youth through age 19 with a free lunch Mondays through Fridays in July and August at three sites in the county; ELFS Holiday Program makes holiday wishes come through the generous donations of sponsors; HEAP, the Home Energy Assistance Program, is promoted at outreach sites held in November through March to help applicants sign up for the program.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fees Charged: There is no charge for any service.
