The Foster Grandparent Program enrolls senior citizens on limited incomes to provide services to children who have special needs in a variety of child care agencies. Foster Grandparents serve 20 hours per week, and receive a tax-free stipend of $204 per month, paid vacation, sick, personal leave and holidays, as well as a daily meal, annual physical exam and transportation reimbursement.
