AIDS Rochester provides case management and education regarding HIV/AIDS and other sexually-transmitted diseases as well as prevention education, referrals, a food cupboard, linkage with counseling, home-delivered medications, HIV medical care and transportation for medical appointments. The agency addresses also HIV/AIDS related issues. There's a support group for diagnosed individuals, and a gay men's group which does not require members to be HIV positive. Also available are planning referrals, HIV/AIDS education and prevention education, advocacy for financial and medical benefits. Some housing subsidies also are available for those over the age of 18.
Populations Served: Persons who have tested positive for HIV or who are at a high risk for contracting HIV are eligible for services.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Area Served: Ontario, Wayne, Seneca and Yates counties.
Fees Charged: There is no charge for services.
