Child and Family Resources provides early childhood programs, Growing with Baby (ages 0-1), parent education (including young parents), babysitter training; Kaleidoscope, an arts enrichment program for children aged 6 to 12, child care resource and referral for working parents, parent support and a father's parenting program. Those interested can visit or call the center to access the services or receive information about services. Many programs are free. A sliding-fee scale according to income is used for the programs that do have a charge.

Child and Family Resources is a certified NYS Parenting and Education Awareness Program for separating or divorcing parents. The Family and Supreme courts of New York State currently order and refer to Parent Education and Awareness Programs for parents separating from their spouse or partner or going through a divorce where children are involved.  Families in Transition is a Parent Education program designed to help  parents separating from their spouse or partner or going through a divorce understand the impact their actions have on their children.

Your local Child Care Resource and Referral agency (CCR&R). Provides access to child care programs in Ontario County.  Parents seeking child care can call 1-800-881-5786 for an updated listing of program names, information on help with paying for child care, local vacancy information, regulatory requirements for programs and tools for interviewing.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mission: Child and Family Resources is dedicated to providing affordable, accessible programs that enhance and support the education of parents, care givers and child care providers as well as encourage the highest quality of care and positive learning experiences for young children.

Area Served: All are welcome, families and children, parents, step and blended families, custodial and non-custodial parents, grandparents, students in early childhood education programs.

Funding Sources: State Office of Children and Family Services, Ontario County Youth Board, United Way and local funding sources.
