The agency provides child care for children aged six weeks to 5 years as well as before and after school care for those aged 5 to 12 years. The program features a well-designed learning environment that encourages the social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of each child. The goals is to promote family support by strengthening the relationship between the family, the center and the community.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mission: Provide accessible, affordable care in a secure, nurturing and creation environment for children aged six weeks to 12 years; provide a well-designed learning environment that encourages the social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of each child and the development of skills in decision making, problem solving and critical thinking; promote family support by strengthening the relationship between family, center and community.
Area Served: Family with children aged six weeks to 13 years.
Funding Sources: Scholarships are funded by the United Way and the Children\'s Home Fund.
Fees Charged: Tuition is charged but scholarships are available depending on family income.
All programs re fully licensed. The Canandaigua Early Childhood Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
